Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Dr. Gokhan SILAHTAROGLU graduated from Turkish Military Academy, Department of Electronics Engineering in 1987 (BSc); in 1995, he graduated from Istanbul University Department of Teaching English as a Second Language (BA), after postgraduate studies he gained his PhD degree on quantitative methods with the thesis “ Clustering in Data Mining and an Application on Students’ Assessment” in Istanbul University. His main studies are on Data Mining, e-Activities and Applications of Information Technology. He has been teaching at Maths & Computing Department of Beykent University in Istanbul since 1996.
