Abstract: This paper deals with the
numerical solution by an exponential-fitting method of the quantum corrected
equations. The method is based on the exponential variation phenomenon of the
carrier density in semiconductor devices. It allows the mesh requirements to
be relaxed considerably. Numerical examples are solved to demonstrate the
usefulness of this approach. The numerical results show that the method is
efficient and accurate for the simulation of semiconductor devices.
