Brief Biography of the Organizer:
Vladimir Vasek received M.S. in Control Engineering, Ph.D. in Construction of Production Machines and Devices - all in TU Brno – Czech Republic, Associate Professor in Automation of Machines and Technological Processes and Professor degree in Machine and Process Control at TU Ostrava – Czech Republic. From 1973 he is working at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, first as an assistant, later as an associated professor and from 2003 as a professor in the area of computer control systems, real-time programming control applications on the basis of microprocessors. He works at this university from 1990 as a head of automatic control department, from 2006 up to the present day as a dean of Faculty of Applied Informatics. His research interest includes microcomputers problems - hardware, software, real-time software and deterministic discrete automatic control theory applicable in the microcomputers measurement and control systems. He is the author of more than 200 scientific papers and a monograph. He is a coeditor or member of the editorial board or scientific committee of number of scientific conferences. Member of the DAAAM, participated in many WSEAS Conferences in Proceedings and Transactions.
