POST-CONFERENCE REPORT
The
1st WSEAS International Conference:
CELLULAR and MOLECULAR BIOLOGY - BIOPHYSICS and BIOENGINEERING 2005 ,
was held in Vouliagmeni
(Hotel ARMONIA), Athens, Greece from July 15 till July 17,
2005.
More than
180 papers were submitted to this
conference and from them
only 91
papers were accepted.
The authors of the best of the accepted papers received an invitation for
sending an extended version
to the
WSEAS reputable International Journals.
The Conference offered a Banquet with live greek and international
orchester, singers, and a great ballet of 6 dancers.

SOCIAL PART:
The Banquet took place around the swimming pool of the Hotel "ARMONIA"
in July 15, 2005. In
the banquet, each
participant enjoyed greek and international cuisine from over than 45
different dishes (self-service menu), over than 5 different sweets and over
than 5 season fruits, as well as red and white wine, beer, greek ouzo (per
request) and coffee.
Also, the Organizing Committee
offered wonderful coffee-breaks.
The rich coffee-breaks were composed by filter coffee, tea, 4 juices, cakes, biscuits,
sweets and fruit tarts.

The team of Prof. Dr .Feride Severcan, Middle East Technical University, Biology
Department, Ankara, Turkey (organizer of the successful Special Session: "Vibrational
Spectroscopy from Molecules to Tissues") dances the traditional Turkish (and
also traditional Greek) dance: Tsifteteli
The Banquet had also two other pleasant surprizes:
We celebrated the 41 birthdate of our WSEAS President, Professor Mastorakis as
well the 50th marriage anniversary of Prof. Ray Hefferlin.
"Bouzouki" is the national musical instrument of Greece. The musical group
of Mr. Nikolouzos gave a special greek summer night to the WSEAS guests.
