were held in Hilton Izmir in Izmir, Turkey, from September 13 till
September16, 2004
This WSEAS Multiconference was very successful
SCIENTIFIC
PART:
2 Plenary Lectures by very important scientists and parallel sessions in 2
Conference

Most of the papers were of high quality and for this reason the
reviewers promoted them to WSEAS International Journals.
The organizing committee followed the rule:
Positive Comments from 2 reviewers --> Publication in the Proceedings
Positive Comments from 3 reviewers --> Publication in the Proceedings + Journals
Positive Comments from 1 or 0 reviewers --> Rejection
The proceedings (300 papers) were distributed to the authors during the event
while selected papers were published in WSEAS Transactions.
The Proceedings and the Journals related to this important
scientific multi-meeting have just sent (today, September 22, 2004) to
the following Science Citation Indexes:
INSPEC (IEE), ISI (ISINET), ELSEVIER, CSA, AMS. Mathematical Reviews, ELP,
NLG, Engineering Index, Directory of Published Proceedings, ZENTRABLATT
SOCIAL PART:
The official Banquet of the conference took place in the 32nd floor of Hilton
with panoramic
view of Izmir and Izmir Bay,
with a great variety of food (over than 50 different plates), beverages
live orchester with 6 instrument players and singers and entertainment. The
orchester played a variety
of traditional Turkish and International songs. Prof. Mastorakis with a
short speech underlined the high importance of the WSEAS and the WSEAS
conferences not only for the Science and Technology, but also for the Peace,
Friendship and mutual understanding between people and nations. The participants
danced nice turkish dances while a wonderful artist danced for the guests
oriental Belly Dance (see photos below). Several excursions to Troia, Pergamos,
Ephesos, Assos, took place. In the coffee-breaks, the guests except the usual
coffee, tea, milk and juices also enjoyed a variety of traditional turkish
sweets and delicacies. The overall impression of the multiconference was
excellent.
