In 2008, over than 900 delegates attended the WSEAS multiconference (for CSCC only: 1338 papers were received. From them the WSEAS Organizing Committee approved only 641 papers). In 2006, the CSCC received 1302 papers and approved 623 papers.

BEST PAPERS: The authors of the Best Papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the conference with additional review. This very limited number of high-quality papers will be announced in the Post-Conference report of the Conference.
No-show authors will be excluded from any further publication in WSEAS Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers. Additionally, they will be required to pay extra shipping and handling fees in order for the organizing committee to mail out their registration receipt, CD-ROM proceedings, and the hard-copy proceedings. In 2007, the organizers did not give extension in the deadline and the accepted papers were approximately 550)
The conference offers to the Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics Community a great forum for presenting recent research results, participating in discussions for several research projects and establishing new academic collaborations and linking university with the industry. It was held in 1996 and 1998 in Piraeus (Greece); in 1999 in Athens (Greece); in 2000 in Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece; in 2001 and 2002 in Rethymno, Greece; in 2003 in Corfu, Greece; in 2004, 2005, 2006 in Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece. In 2007, the conference was held in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, while in 2008 this multiconference attracted 800 people and was held in Heraklion, Crete.
