JOURNALS:
BEST PAPERS: The authors
of the Best Papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers
after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These
extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the
conference with additional review. This very limited number of high-quality
papers will be announced in the
Post-Conference report of the Conference.
No-show authors will be excluded from any further publication in WSEAS
Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers. Additionally, they will
be required to pay extra shipping and handling fees in order for the
organizing committee to mail out their registration receipt, CD-ROM
proceedings, and the hard-copy proceedings.

STUDENTS COMPETITION:
WSEAS will give out prizes for the winners of the students competition. The
evaluation will be based on the recommendation of the Chairmen of each
Session. The results will be announced at:

History of the WSEAS Conference on APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS :
The first conference
with the title: MECHANICS and MECHATRONICS took place in Udine, Italy, in
2004. The second one with the new title APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS
was held in Venice, Italy, 2006. The third one is this conference in
Tenerife (Dec.2007). The fourth conference was held in Tenerife, Spain (Dec.
2008).The fifth conference will held in
Tenerife, Spain (Dec. 2009).

Scope of
the WSEAS Conference on APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS :
The World
Conference of WSEAS on APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS is the
internationally recognised Forum for the dissemination of the latest
advances on Theoretical, Computational, Experimental and Applied Mechanics
etc as well as their impact and their interaction with other areas of
Science and Engineering. The various WSEAS conferences on Mechanics has
been successfully held each year since 2004 and has produced more than 6
volumes of Proceedings while the best papers and the invited papers after
extension and after peer review from 4 international referees, are published
in WSEAS Journals covered by all
the major scientific indexes.
The 4th WSEAS International Conference on APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS
aims to disseminate the latest research and applications in the afore
mentioned fields. The range of topics covered are listed on the
Call For Papers.
The friendliness and
openness of the WSEAS conferences, adds to their ability to grow by
constantly attracting young researchers.
The WSEAS International Conference on APPLIED and THEORETICAL MECHANICS
attracts a large number of well-established and leading researchers in all
the areas of Theoretical, Computational, Experimental and Applied Mechanics
as well as Modern and Advanced Applications in Real Life.
The meetings have always had a special appeal to young researchers and are
characterized by a friendly atmosphere in which delegates at different
