JOURNALS:
BEST PAPERS: The authors of the Best Papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the conference with additional review. This very limited number of high-quality papers will be announced in the
Post Conference Report of the Conference.

No-show authors will be excluded from any further publication in WSEAS Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers. Additionally, they will be required to pay extra shipping and handling fees in order for the organizing committee to mail out their registration receipt, CD-ROM proceedings, and one volume of the hard-copy proceedings.

WSEAS will give out prizes for the winners of the best paper competition. The evaluation will be based on the recommendation of the Chairmen of each Session as well as on the recommendation of the

HISTORY OF THIS WSEAS CONFERENCE
The 1st Conference with the title: "Multirate Systems and Wavelet Analysis" was held in 2001 in Rethymno, Greece, (July 2001). The 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th took place in Vouliagmeni, Greece in December of 2002, 2003 and 2004 correspondingly. The 5th WAMUS took place in Sofia, Bulgaria in October of 2005 while the 6th WAMUS in Bucharest, Romania in 2006.
The 7th WAMUS was held in Arcachon of France in October of 2007. The 8th WAMUS is going to take place in Corfu Island of Greece in October of 2008. The 9th WAMUS was held on La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, in July 2009 and the 10th WAMUS is going to be held in Sousse, Tunisia, May 2010.

Scope of this WSEAS Conference
The WAMUS Conference is the internationally recognized Forum for the dissemination of the latest advances of Wavelets, Multirate Systems, Wavelet Applications in Mathematics, Signal Processing, Image Analysis, Systems,  Non-linear Systems, Chaos etc..  The various WSEAS conferences on Wavelets, Multirate Systems, Wavelet Applications in Mathematics, Signal Processing, Image Analysis, Systems,  Non-linear Systems, Chaos etc.. have been successfully held each year since 1996and has produced more than 50 volumes of Proceedings while the best papers and the invited papers after extension and after peer review from 4 international referees, are published in WSEAS Journals covered by all the major scientific indexes.

This WSEAS International Conference aims to disseminate the latest research and applications in the afore mentioned fields. The range of topics covered are listed on the Call For Papers. The friendliness and openness of the WSEAS conferences, adds to their ability to grow by constantly attracting young researchers.

This WSEAS International Conference attracts each year a large number of well-established and leading researchers in the aforementioned areas as well as their Modern and Advanced Applications in our Real Life.
